Definitions

Glomerular filtration rate: is volume of plasma filtered by glomeruli of both kidneys per unit time. It is approximately 125 ml/min in adult human being.

Tubular Secretion: is passage of waste products from blood to tubular fluids.

Tubular Reabsorption: is passage of useful products from tubular fluid to blood.

Micturition: is act of passage of stored urine from urinary bladder through urethra.

Diuresis: is a condition in which excess volume of urine is discharged
