Anticoagulant: are chemicals or agents that prevents clotting of blood e.g. Sodium citrate, Sodium oxalate, Heparin, Ethylene diamine tetra acetic acid (EDTA).
Antigen: are high molecular weight molecules that are capable of inducing immuneresponse.
Clotting factors: are inactivated enzymes present in blood plasma which takes part in coagulation process.
Antibodies: also called immunoglobulins are specific protein molecules involved in immunological reactions against specific antigen.
