Lesson 11: Weaves

Plain Weave

This is also called Tabby, Homespun or Taffeta.
It is a simple and inexpensive weave that requires only 2 harnesses.
Each filling travels over and under the warp across the width of the fabric.
Interlacing of any two successive fillings will be exactly the opposite way.
