Photo shop Photo shop is a computer pixel drawing program used mainly to create images that have complex texture and shading such as photographs and paintings - the other type of computer drawing program is line and shape based (vector drawing) and is better for drawing high precision images with lines and areas of flat color - photo shop can also do vector like drawing but it takes more time, is less precise, has fewer vector drawing tools and cannot be scaled up or down without damaging the image at least a little - photos and paintings in photo shop can be scaled up as much as 10 to 20 percent without noticeable damage but do that to a line drawing in photo shop and it looks horrible - photo shop is very intuitive and a natural drawing environment and so takes a lot less time to learn than a vector drawing program.
