Review writing

Review writing is one of the important features of journalism today. Some Readers are very interest to read review writing about books, films and dramas.

Generally the review of a book is based on the following three parts:

Under first part the following is included:

  1. Title of the book
  2. Author’s name.
  3. Name of the publisher.
  4. Place of available and its full address.
  5. Edition.
  6. Price of the book.
  7. Pages of the book.

Under second part the subject matters of the book is to be indicated; the views of the author on the subject should be clearly given; regarding the views of the author, the review writer may point out the appreciable views and the defects of the book.

Under the third part we find the views of the review writer. In other words the views of the review writers should be given in the part. Hence he may give his advice to the author or he may give his recommendations for the readers.

With regard to cinema review or film review something to be mentioned here. Nowadays this type of review is seen in every journal. People are very interested to read such reviews. Before release the films are screened in preview theaters for reviewers and journalists by the producers.
