Travelogue

A travelogue is usually a personal account of writer’s visit to a city, town which impresses from several aspects like living style, culture, civilization, heritage, prevailing there. Travel in itself is a greater education, a valuable experience. Travelogues are also helpful in understanding the people of a place and their pursuits, their philosophy of life and their concerns, their lifestyles, their plans and sorrows.

As the world today has taken shape of a virtual global village, with better and faster means of mobility, travelling is becoming increasingly popular activity particularly in today’s competitive world marked by grueling lifestyle and increasing work pressure, most of us love to go for a holiday to relax and rejuvenate themselves. One thing we must clearly understand that these travelogues are usually biased writings of individual writer and whatever they have written is not certainly the real truth about any destination or country.
