Brown blight of leaf
This disease is generally seen on leaves during the hot weather. Injury caused by sun scalding or other type of wounds on leaves predispose them for infection by Colletotricum gloeosporioides.
Symptoms Management 1. Maintain proper overhead shades to avoid sun scalding of leaves. 2. Spraying 0.5% Bordeaux mixture to protect leaves from the rust fungus appears to give adequate protection against brown blight also. |
