3. Thrips -Taeniothrips chalcogastra (Thripidae. Thysanoptera)

• Nymphs and adults lacerate tissues of flowers and leaves and such ozzing fluid.
  
• Silvery patches are seen on the flowers and leaves.
  
• Adults are minute and yellowish with fringed wings.
  
• Collect and destroy damaged plant parts and spray dimethoate 30 EC at 1.5 ml/l.
