LEARING OUTCOME

After the Lesson - 1 is completed you should be able to:

Remember the care, handling and management of surgical instruments.
Identify the surgical instruments - cutting instruments, holding instruments, Retractors, Haemostats, Needle holders, orthopaedic instruments, Dental instruments, Ear instruments, Teat instruments and other surgical instruments used in wards.
List the different surgical accessories.
Enumerate the use of various types of catheters used in veterinary practice
