 REPULSION AND ROTATION INSTRUMENTS

Instruments for Repulsion or Retropulsion

• Kuhn’s Crutch – It is used for repelling the fetus during manipulative correction of dystocia it is usually applied in the brisket region of the fetus in anterior presentation and around perineal region in posterior presentation.

 Instruments use for Rotation

• Cammerer’s Torsion fork – It is used for rotating the fetus to correct positional abnormalities. It is used along with a pair of sleeve.
