TIME OF OCCURRENCE

  • Uterine prolapse is an uncommon complication of parturition in the cow, but, when it does occur, rapid and effective treatment is required to ensure the survival, recovery and continued fertility of the affected animal. It usually occurs in the first 24 hours immediately post-partum, although there are rare incidences of it occurring several days after calving.
