SYLVATIC ZOONOSES

• Zoonotic diseases that having reservoirs among the wild or feral animals, free living and captive animals, and transmission of those diseases to the human population are referred to as sylvatic zoonoses.
  • Examples: Rabies, Kyasanur forest disease
