MORPHOLOGY

• CDV has a spherical shape and diameter ranging from 100 to 250 nm. It contains negative-stranded, non segmented RNA.
• The virus contains six proteins:
• The nucleocapsid protein (NP),
• The phosphoprotein (P),
• The matrix protein (M),
• The fusion protein (F),
• The haemaglutinin attachment glycoprotein (H) and
• The large-polymerase protein (L).
