COMPOSITION OF TRIS EGG YOLK GLYCEROL/UNIVERSAL DILUENT


For preparing 1 litre diluent

1 Tris 30.28 gm
2 Citric acid 16.75 gm
3 Fructose 12.50 gm
4 Glycerol 70 ml
5 Penicillin G sodium 10 lac unit
6 Dihydrostreptomycin 1000 mg
7 Distilled water (make up to) 800 ml
8 Egg yolk (finally added) 200 ml

Glycerol and egg yolk are added @ 7% and 20% respectively.
