Leadership

• It is defined(by Happle) as the role and status of one or more individuals in the structure and functioning of group organizations which enable these groups to meet a need or purpose, that can be achieved only through the cooperation of the members of the group.

  According to Hoffer and Gibson

  “leadership is the unique relationship which exists in a group when the processes of mutual stimulation makes it possible for one person to influence others in the pursuit of a common cause.”
