International Responsibilities

The health of mankind requires cooperation of governments, the people, national and international organizations in terms of

  1. Exchange of experts
  2. Provision of drugs and supplies
  3. Border meetings regarding control of communicable diseases.
  4. Achievement of ‘health for all’ through primary health care.

Eradication of small pox, campaign against smoking, AIDS awareness are some of the issues indicating international responsibilities for the control of disease and promotion of health.
At the international level health aspects are controlled and coordinated by WHO.
