Assessment information is useful for evaluation purpose both at individual level and at group level.
At individual level assessment data can be used to determine the child’s rate of progress and to verify the effectiveness of specific intervention strategies with respect to specific target behaviours.
At group level the information gathered across children is useful to determine the overall programme impact. This process includes systematic data collection and analysis for all of the components of early intervention, including staff development and administration.
