Development of socio emotional skills

We have learnt in the earlier lesson what socio-emotional development is, the principles involved in it and the environmental factors influencing socialization.

Every child has his or her own unique ‘personality’ which to some extent, is determined by his inheritance, but to a very large extent is the result of many environmental factors.

Children learn to behave in specific ways mainly by observing and imitating others around them because they have been regularly rewarded or encouraged for that behavior.
