Organizational Chart

It is made available to all members of the staff, can clarify lines of communication and responsibility for everyone in the center. An organizational chart enables an employee to determine how each position meshes with other positions in the center. This information coupled with complete job descriptions, evaluation procedures and forms, and open staff communication helps the staff to understand the expectations of to center & their responsibilities to meet these expectations.

Other considerations include

  • Staff and Fringe benefits
  • Health and Safety measures
  • Daily hours and employment period
  • Relief periods
  • Vacations, holidays, meeting schedules, probationary periods

Amending and Changing Policies: The personnel policies should contain a section that details the procedures for amending the policies. As the center under goes its regular evaluation period. The personnel politics also should be checked to determine the need for changes in policy.
