Practical-10: Observation of socio emotional and language development of infants (13-18 months)

Observation of social development of infants (13-18 months)

Introduction: They understand object constancy and know that objects not seen around are likely to be hidden somewhere. They express both positive and negative emotions and need constant monitoring of their moods and activities. The child loves companionship. Spend time and provide your child company in play and guide and help her learn. Provide ‘such toys’ that are good lessons for the child to think ahead for e.g. if the child is picking the toys show him a wagon which will make it easier. The child will draw this lesson and sue a yardstick to retrieve his toys himself from under the furniture or from perching on a sturdy box to reach things up high.
