Socio-emotional

  • Child understands most noun words and follows instructions.
  • Turn pages one at a time, recognizes self in photographs.
  • Make child attempt to sing songs with words, name two pictures, express needs by using words.
  • Child imitates doing household work and other real life activities - symbolic play, so provide lots of materials.
  • Encourage child to play imaginatively; pretend to cook, dust, wash dishes, play "mommy" or "daddy" etc.
  • Make child interact with peers using gestures and engage in parallel play.
  • Help child to feed self by spoon with some spilling and distinguish between edible and non edible objects.
  • Praise your child when she cooperates.
