Thematic Apperception Test (TAT)

Used to study behavior problems as well as normal personality. There are a series of pictures about which the subject must tell a story.

It is difficult to “lie” or “falsify” on the projective tests since no one response is important. The overall pattern of responses is significant. The interpretation of these tests needs extensive training and experience in administration of the tests.
