Integrated treatment methods: There are several techniques that can protect the soil from erosion. Today, both water and soil are conserved through integrated treatment methods the two types of treatment generally used are:
Area Treatment: Area treatment which involves treating land by developing vegetative cover on non – agriculture land.

Drainage-line treatment, which involves treating methods the natural water courses (nallas). Drainage line treatment

A bund constructed out of stones across/stream can be used for conserving soil and water.
An earthen check bund constructed out of local soil across / stream to check soil erosion.
