Patios and Balconies

Decks, balconies or patios provided for use by occupants of a dwelling unit should be accessible to persons using wheelchairs by a design that does not compromise the water resistance of the building envelope.

For decks, balconies or patios directly accessed from and for the exclusive use of the occupants of a dwelling unit, access may be provided by a design that can be adapted in the future.
