Primary colour

All colors may be obtained by mixing in various proportions of three fundamental hues: red (R), yellow (Y),and blue (B). These are called the three primary colors (Fig 4.6), because they are the elements in the use of pigment. They are the only hues in pigment that cannot be obtained by mixing other hues.
