Housing Terms

• House House is a shelter consisting of walls, floors, doors, windows, and roof etc in which human beings live.

• Home Home is a house, in which family lives and enjoy all the happiness, affection and love for each other,

• Dwelling
  Dwelling is a residence for someone to live in. It may have a group of rooms or a single room for multiple functions, occupied or intended for occupancy. It may consist of separate living quarters or a flat with other dwelling units.
  
  
  
  


• Shelter
  A physical facility, unit or structure, which provides a place for occupants to have protection from natural calamities.

• Housing
  Housing is a colony of houses with all amenities that forms the supportive system in a physical environment. A housing colony has a profound impact on the socio-economic and physio-psychological development of human beings.
