Hall Ways

  • Walkways in the house that connect inside the front door of a house to rest of the interior space are hallway, passage or corridor.
  • A hallway is a communicating passage in large buildings or in large main rooms. A relatively narrow space are corridors, often connect rooms or apartments opening onto it enclosed by a roof and walls.
  • The corresponding space upstairs is a landing or lobby. These shall be a clearly defined, unobstructed and provide an uninterrupted path of exit travel to functional rooms or the exterior of the building.
  • Corridor is one of the important components of any apartment, which protects it from drafts, cold, dirt and from evil people.
