Tex system

This system was initiated in the year 1960 by the ASTM (American Society for Testing Materials). In this system there is a fixed relationship between weight and length of all types of yarns be it a spun or filament or blended. One tex is equals to 1 gram per kilometer of length of yarn. As this is a direct system it is easier and simpler to follow.
