Characteristics

• A degree of balance is provided by using corresponding number of filling to the size of combined warp yarn.
• Loosely woven fabric with good flexibility, good wrinkle resistance is obtained.
• Few number of inter lacings / sq inch.
• Low tensile strength.
• Fabrics shrink in washing
• Difficult in sewing is encountered.
• They snag and pill, yarn slippage is another problem seen.
