Resist Printing

This is one of the oldest methods of applying design on fabrics. Batiks and stencil prints are the examples of resist printing. The basic principle lies in protecting certain areas of the fabric by using some resist material to prevent color (dye) penetration. Different types of resist printing methods include tie and dye, batik and stencil.
