4) Find out the cross sectional area of the stack as shown in Fig. The distance between each station is 1.5 m. apart.

Cross sectional area of the stack
A = h/2 [(y₀+y_n+2(y₁+y₂+y₃+y₄+y₅+…..y_n-1)]
= 1.5/2 [(1+0+ 2(3.6+5.1+6.7+7.9+10.3+14.2+15.6+14.1+13.8+12.6+10.3)]
= 172.05 m²
