3.2.5. ELISA Plate Reader
ELISA reader is a machine that measures color density in the microtiter plate well at a specific wavelength of light. The light is cast from the bottom of the well through the sample. The wells with no color absorb very little light and the wells with color change absorb more light. The color intensity is measured as the optical density (OD). |
