Protein Bound Carbohydrates

After centrifugation, add 5ml of 1N sulfuric acid to the precipitate and close the tube with marble and heat. Place it in an oven at 100^oC for 12-14h for hydrolysis. Take 1ml of the hydrolyzed sample in another test tube, add 10ml of anthrone reagent and determine the carbohydrate content, as done for free sugars.
