Objectives of PA system

Objectives of PA System

  1. To read announcements or declare states of emergency.
  2. To make two way communications through Intercom systems often used in schools, also have microphones in each room so that the occupants can reply to the central office.
  3. To deliver the subject matter for large number of participants.

Public address systems typically consist of input sources, pre amplifiers and/or signal routers, amplifiers, control and monitoring equipment, and loudspeakers. PA systems are usually for reproduction of speech and recorded music in buildings and institutions. Simple PA systems of this type, often providing 50 to 200 watts of power, are often needed in small venues. SR systems are used for live music and we use amplifiers to provide several thousands of watts. Public address system consists of three elements: 1. Mike, 2. Amplifiers, 3. Speaker.
