Mikes are of four types
The mike has the diaphragm inside which vibrates to the sound produced in front of it. The sound energy is converted into magnetic energy and sent to the amplifier using a mike jack. The mike jack is usually a coaxial cable with inner conducting core material covered by a plastic sheet over which there is another layer of conducting materials. The mike is connected to the amplifier using two types of provisions – a screw type and a socket type. |
