12.1.8 Invertebrates and amphibians

Various invertebrates (e.g. snails, crayfish) can be added to the pond but are of questionable benefit, and (in the case of crayfish) will be seldom seen. Amphibians can co-exist quite well, although the fish may eat some of the amphibians.
