3.13.2.3.Calcium, Magnesium and Sulphur

Calcium, magnesium and sulphur are generally not limited as major nutrients either; sufficient concentration are derived from tap and food sources. In soft water, calcium and magnesium may need supplementation, which is best achieved through the substrate. Calcium is necessary for plant growth, as is sulphur , magnesium is the central atom in every chlorophyll molecule. The lack of calcium shows in dwarfed, gnarled growth and blackened, stubby roots. Missing magnesium may result in yellow to white, transparent leaves.
