Dissection

• Make an incision in the form of an inverted "T" the ventrical incision being between the two sets of pulmonary vein while the horizontal one is just above and parallel to the coronary groove. Continue this incision to the appendix.
• Note the openings of the pulmonary veins in the sinus venarum and the musculi pectinati in the appendix.
