ECOLOGICAL CONTROL
  • Modification of plant cover by removal of regetation covering / sheltering ticks
  • Sanitation of local habitats - using acaricide, plastering walls, concrete on floors
  • Eradication of rodent host
  • Other practices such as pasture rotation, pasture spelling, rotational grazing, periodical with holding of cattle and strict quarantine control can also be used
