PSEUDO PREGNANCY

• Bitch presented with history of mating 2 months before showing mammary gland engorgement, milk secretion and behavior changes.It is seen in all non-pregnant bitches as they complete diestrum.
• Pseudopregnancy may be covert and overt ( where clinical signs are exhibited).
• The exact cause has not been determined but is mainly due to Hyperprolactinaemia.
