DIAGNOSIS OF FALSE ANESTRUM

Rectal examination

• Reveals a mature CL in one of the ovaries and a flaccid uterus indicating diestrus condition.  
• Examination of postpartum anestrus cows at 60-90 days, heifers at 18-24 months of age and buffalo heifers at 30-36 months of age is necessary.
