Limitations

1. Posters give only initial idea and cannot furnish detailed information
2. Production of good poster is a technical job and requires skill, time and money
3. Cannot be repeated. For each occasion a new poster is to be made
4. Large posters are somewhat unwieldy
5. There is tendency to put posters up and leave them for ever
6. Corrections or changes are difficulties to make
7. Understanding of poster by all persons is difficult
