5.2.2.Plate freezer
Plate freezer can only be used to freeze regularly shaped blocks and packages. Plate freezer do not have the versatility of air blast freezers. Plate freeze can be arranged with the plates horizontal to form a series of shelves and as the arrangement suggests, they are called horizontal plate freezer. When the plate are arranged in a vertical plane they form a series of bins and in this from they are called vertical plate freezer.
