Ascorbic acid method Ammonium molybdate and potassium antimonyl tartarate reacts in acid medium with orthophosphate to form a heteropoly phosphomolybdic acid that is reduced to intensely colored molybdenum blue by ascorbic acid and the extinction is measured at 885 nm. |
