• Product visibility or transparency
• Glass is rigid and strong
• Glass in chemically inert to acids and other components present in food.
• It does not deteriorate with age.
• Excellent barrier for solids liquids and gases.
• It can give excellent protection against permeability of odours and flavours.
• Glass can be moulded into variety if shapes and sizes
• Environmentally friendly as it can be recycled.
