Aim: To study the method of operation and usage of GPS in fishing vessel

Learning Outcome: At the end of this practical, students will be able study the operation of GPS.

Materials Required: GPS – Hand held or Fixed type

Procedure:

There are three types of GPS for small and medium class vessels,

1)    Hand held model

2)    Fixed model

3)    GPS with chart plotter
