    • The fruits of Jamun are highly perishable in nature; Fruits are generally harvested daily and sent to market on the same day. They cannot be stored more than 3-4 days under ordinary conditions. However, pre-cooled fruits packed in perforated polythene bags can be stored well upto 3 weeks at a temperature of 9 ± 1oC and 85-90% relative humidity.
