• In South Gujarat, 45kg N/ha in the form of castor or groundnut cake or well rotten farmyard manure is applied at the time of fruiting. In the second year, the same doses of manures and fertilizers are again applied. The application of two baskets of well rotten farmyard manure per vine, three times a year is adequate to provide the needed quantity of nutrients.
