Brown rot
Causal organism :Phytophthora spp.
Greyish brown spots are seen on the fruits. Infected fruits emit a characteristic pungent odour Under humid conditions, fine white spore bearing mould develops on the peel which spreads to the adjoining fruits. Rotting is very rapid at 25oC |
