Psychodynamic perspective

Psychoanalytical theory of personality was proposed by Sigmund Freud.

Structure of personality

Based on his work from studying people suffering from psychological disorders, Freud developed personality theory with three mental structures.

1. Id
2. Ego
3. Super Ego

The interaction between the three structures of personality is ongoing process in the life of an individual which governs his personality.
